reusable hospital cubicle privacy curtains vs. disposable curtains

  • Cost-effectiveness

Reusable hospital privacy curtains can reduce the cost of frequent replacement and disposal of disposable curtains.

  • Infection control

Reusable curtains can help prevent the spread of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) because they are easily laundered and fabrics often have antimicrobial properties. Disposable curtains cannot be laundered and are meant to be used for a very short period of time, then thrown away or incinerated. Facilities are keeping disposable curtains much longer than recommended before changing, which can spread contamination because

  • Durability

Reusable curtains are usually more durable than disposable curtains. High-quality reusable curtains can last up to 10 years and can withstand multiple wash cycles.

  • Patient healing experience is enhanced

Cubicle curtains can help patients feel like they’re in an environment that is more like home surrounded by quality fabric curtains instead of paper curtains. Reuseable textile hospital curtains absorb sound better than disposable curtains, allowing the patient to have private conversations and relax in a comforting space without being observed.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive my cubicle curtain or Simply 66 snap cubicle curtains® order?
A: Lead time depends on the fabric you choose.  We have a wide selection of cubicle curtain fabrics.  In-stock fabrics normally ship within 1-2 weeks with receipt of order. A: Track is not automatically included and must be quoted and ordered in addition to cubicle curtains.
